AIBB RBV Academic Award 2026
Colin Simkin's commitment to professional excellence has been recognised with the Australian Institute of Business Brokers' AIBB RBV Academic Award 2026.
The award recognises his achievement as the highest-performing student in his Registered Business Valuer course.
Colin brings more than three decades of experience working with Australian accounting-practice principals. Through Practice Succession, he has scrutinised practices, presented them to purchasers, negotiated prices and terms, and led successful sales nationally, often
on a multiple of earnings.
His Registered Business Valuer qualification adds technical depth to that established experience. For Practice Valuation clients, the emphasis remains on the quality of the analysis: understanding sustainable earnings, testing the evidence and explaining the reasoning behind the conclusion.
The award reinforces a commitment to professional development and greater rigour in the work undertaken for clients.
